If you are a keen walker or cyclist and wish to spend the day exploring further afield, then Linacre Lodge sits in a unique position just 100 yards from the point where The Down's Link crosses The Sussex Border Path, giving direct access to over a hundred miles of bridleways and footpaths crisscrossing Surrey and West Sussex. The Surrey Cycleway also passes right by the house and offers the chance for cyclists to explore the beaautiful Surrey countryside via quiet, country lanes. For the off road cyclist, wanting more of a challenge than the Down's Link, there are miles and mles of more challenging routes to explore in the Surrey Hills just 5 miles from Linacre Lodge.

If you would like any help with planning your walk / cycle ride then we would be delighted to help and provide maps, directions and suggestions as to the best pubs to visit along the way. We can also provide a packed lunch on request.

We have the facility to dry out wet kit overnight and if you are staying more than 2 nights then we also offer a laundry service.

We also offer the use of a hosepipe, bucket, soap, sponge and towels as well as free, secure bicycle storage.
